Magnonic Frequency Comb through Nonlinear Magnon-Skyrmion Scattering

An optical frequency comb consists of a set discrete and equally spaced frequencies has found wide applications in the synthesis over broad spectral electromagnetic wave precise metrology. Despite analogies between magnons photons many aspects, analogue magnonic system not been reported. Here, we theoretically study magnon-skyrmion interaction find that (MFC) can be generated above threshold driving amplitude, where nonlinear scattering process involving three prevails. The mode-spacing MFC is equal to breathing-mode skyrmion thus tunable by either electric or magnetic means. theoretical prediction verified micromagnetic simulations essential physics generalized large class solitons. Our findings open new pathway observe structure devices, may inspire fundamental spintronic platform future.
